Style your lehenga in 6 unique ways

Hello, Fashionistas!!! Hope you are doing great. This week we came up with styling lehenga in 6 unique ways. And you know what, we made this lehenga from a frock. Yes, we designed this frock a few years back and we loved wearing it. As many of us get bored wearing the same piece for a quite few times so as we. And we separated the top & bottom of the frock and styled the bottom in this post. Why late!!! Let's get into the details of each look.

For all these looks we used black solid embellished mules as the lehenga is plain. Don't forget to show off your shoes while you walk or in fact any chance to show them.....Hehehehe. After all, we have spent some money on them, right?

NOTE: Remember to pair the colors that compliment each other. That way, your outfit looks more beautiful.

Look 1:

We all have seen lehenga paired with a leather jacket. So, why not denim? Here we paired lehenga with Olive green denim coat and completed the look with statement earrings. It turned out really great.

Look 2:

In this look, we paired lehenga with black volume sleeves blouse with a statement belt. Now we know that the volume sleeves blouse is not limited to our western looks. Go grab yours and pair it with a lehenga. We used a black bag with golden chain to add extra essence to the look. OMG!! We can't wait for our bestie's wedding to wear this look.

To add that pop of color in the upper half of the look we added a pair of stoned earrings that match our lehenga.

Look 3:

We fell in love with the colors of this look. We matched a white kurta having golden embroidery details with the lehenga. If you notice there is a cycle embroidered on the kurta which has a pop of maroon color in it. So we added a green Banarasi bordered maroon netted dupatta that will go well with the kurta and the lehenga.

Look 4:

Have you ever thought of mixing your GYM and party wear!!! Hehe...We did exactly that. We paired the GYM t-shirt with lehenga. Draped a cyan-colored netted dupatta as it absolutely compliments the neon green color and created the slit illusion in the front. You need to choose a lightweight dupatta for this look to keep your lehenga in place.

You don't need to pin this dupatta so you can keep it aside or easily jump into another look (like our look4). We paired this look with silver jewelry.

Look 5:

This look is the same as look 4 except for the fact that we flaunted the veil that we draped in the previous look.

Look 6:

We chose the gold sequin blouse and a yellow color dupatta with a golden border for this look. Instead of draping the dupatta in the regular style, we brought the dupatta over shoulders from behind and put in place with the help of a statement waist belt.

Added the pearl and golden beats chain along with golden jumkas to complete the look.

Silk Saree For Everyone

Hello Fashionistas!! We hope you are all doing great. In this blog, we have put together three different looks with a good old silk saree from our mom's wardrobe for people with different fashion sense. We chose a green color silk saree with golden zari border. It also has a purple color Kundan hand embroidery on it. We added a few knuckle rings to one hand and a pair of golden Jhumkas along with this saree for all the three looks.

Look1: The Chic look

We chose an off white floral printed ethnic jacket to pair with the saree. We got this jacket with the kurta that was bought from the brand W. If you would like to buy it, click here. So, we guess you would have already understood how you can pick a jacket from your wardrobe itself to pair with a saree. Drape the saree in the regular style and wear the jacket upon it. Bring the pallu to the top of the jacket and pin it securely with a safety pin. For those of you who have a question on which blouse to use for this look, use a bralette that's the same color as your jacket.

I have curled the complete hair for the very first time to add the extra glam to this look. This is for someone like us who likes to look like a chic.

Look2: The minimalist

We kept the look as minimal as possible yet stylish. This look is all about comfort and perfect for summer wedding guests. We have used a cream color Banarasi blouse with golden polka dots on it. Don't forget to notice the style of the sleeves. These sleeves will create the illusion of broad shoulders in case you like it. For the hairstyle, create bouncy curls and tie it to a high ponytail with a puff in the front. We added a gold bangle bracelet to the same hand as we added the rings. Trust us these little details will enhance your overall look without putting in a lot of effort.

Look3: The Experimental

For those of you who would like to experiment with the looks, this is the one for you. We chose an off white golden printed pant as a base for the saree. Pleat your saree and tuck it in on your left side. Flaunt the pant on the right side :) The rest of the draping is same as a regular saree style. We used the same Jacket as in look 1. You can either place your pallu above your jacket as we did or place it inside the jacket too. Play as much as you can with the same outfit until you achieve the style of your choice is the golden rule to bring in that one perfect look for you.

We used the same hairstyle as in look 2. This hairstyle is perfectly apt for this look to avoid clumsiness as we are already flaunting the jacket and the Pants.
